Cats

4-paws

Also cats belong to the MANROSE Gang since 1992. These are Colorpoint Persian. We have had only a few litters but almost each time we have kept a kitten.

Tom is a huge dog fan. Devil and Tabby are more neutral towards them, but Diva wouldn’t miss a dog.

Our dogs give the cats a very warm welcome when they have been away for a while. The cats get a doggie-style wash and brush-up and want to be close to the dogs. When the doggies are having a siesta often the cats lie beside them. Tom mostly on his back in the middle of the gang.

The scene is heart warming when Tom wriggles through the front paws of a dog and lies along his chest between his front legs. It seems sometimes the dog is a bit embarrassed that he actually allows this.

Devil

Is the living pillow of Romy. He follows a ‘ladies first’ procedure at feeding time with his fellow felines. He just loves to bask in the sun and explore the garden.

Diva

She lives up to her name, sleeps a lot and enjoys her special dishes. When the food bowl is empty during the night she mauls Manfred until he is awake. At first tenderly with a stamp of the paws and if there is no response she gives an enthusiastic clout to Manfred’s cheek.
She is the mother of 3 litters.

Tabby

The cat with the bedroom eyes. She awakens from a deep sleep when she hears the coffee machine working because often we having cappuccino in the morning and of course a little milk bowl will be ready for her. She is the mother of Tom, and two other sweet ones.

20.4.1994 - 03.07.2011

Tom

The Super-Nanny of the Puppies. He miaows at the door of the whelping room to be let in. He jumps into the whelping box and scrutinizes the puppies. Tom thinks our doggies are great. He relaxes in the middle of the dogs. Sometimes has a love-affair with a dog.
