What a great success. Just a week after the Euro-OES Show in Denmark we drove up to the Netherlands. Of course it's a bit crazy to drive 4400 km in such a short time, but it was worth of it.
In the Netherlands the Club Show was an outside show in the area of Utrecht. It was raining and quite cold too, whitch we just hadn't expected. For the Puppy and Dog Classes it was at least dry, but in the afternoon it was raining cats and dogs. But for the Winner Photo the sun was shining. It is 13 years since we were back in Holland to attend at a Club Show. We remembered winning Best in Show with Kay (Ch. Bobbington Kiss Curl) so this win with Pebbles was a very special event for us too.
At this show two CAC are given to the Best Male and the Best Female and the Reserves get a CAC too.
After the show some dogs where presented to aspiring OES judges, so they would have the opportunity to gain more experience with different OES and to hear the explanation of an adept Breed Specialist. We thought this was an excellent idea and did agree to place Pebbles at their disposal.
A very special thank you for the friendly congratulations we received - we were very grateful.
The challenge trophy had to stay in the Netherlands, but we took home a memorial trophy and very lovely rosettes.
It was a very nice Club Show for us and we say "Bedankt & Tot ziens!"
